No fun in visiting a city if you just go to the recommended tourist sites, if you want to really live the city one must try and live like a local, do everything what a local would do on a normal day. Thus this particular blog of mine would be focusing upon one aspect in which you could live the city of #Bled...

For the ones who come from major big cities like New York, London, Mumbai and Sydney bled would be as big as your society. No matter which part of the city you live in, in the city of bled you would find cycles. In bled cycles is the key form of transportation, and almost all people own them.

In your hotel you would find cycles to rent and you must take one for at least an hour if not 2. It is perfectly safe for both adults and children. Rent a bike and ride around the church which is located right in the center of the Bled lake. Which is 5.8km.

Enjoy the cold breeze as it hits your skin, feel the wind as it relaxes your strained muscles after all the walking you did. Leap into a ride of your life. Along the route apart from the beautiful scenery you would also get to see many people with their dogs, one would find some of the cutest dogs there. You would also find many local people as they spend their evening with their family swimming in the amazing lake.

Stop along the route and taste some locally made ice creams or pretzels, of flavors that you would have never thought of. Do try the lemon sorbet.
Checkout some of the the creative bags, artwork and jewelry. Shop for your friends and family.

Cruises can be great fun but the long and boring part of it is packing and wasting time roaming around and searching for places but packing smart and other ways can really help you save time before and on the cruise.  A few days before the cruise read the instruction manual carefully, if map available mark all the places you wish to visit. While  packing your bags check that you are not carrying flammables, irons and heating equipment so that while checking-in it is not removed. Print baggage tags which would be mentioned on the booklet and staple them onto your bags that you would be checking-in.  Once you have boarded the ship check where all those places are and mainly the eating places and their timings.
